Sue Vickerman – ‘Adventus’ poetry collection signing

Sue Vickerman joins us to sign copies of her poetry collection ‘Adventus’. These poems reflect on Christmases past and current; on lives lived; on year endings and beginnings; anxieties, hopes, and an uncertain future. Though they are perennial poems, they may also serve as daily readings starting from the first day of December.

This is a free, pop-in event, from 4pm-5pm. Copies of the book on sale for £7.50.

Sue has received four UK Arts Council writers’ grants; the latest, to support her translation of a contemporary east German poet. Sue’s poems, short stories and articles have appeared in The Guardian, TES, and literary magazines and anthologies. She has five poetry and several prose publications to her name including a novel about England, ‘Special Needs’, and she edits for Naked Eye Publishing (UK).
