Heather Dawe – Talk and Book Signing

Former winner of the 3 Peaks Cyclocross, Heather Dawe, joins us to talk about her love of running, cycling and climbing in wild and mountainous places. For the last eight years or so she has been writing and painting about these places too, and her books ‘A Cycling Year’ and ‘High Inspiration’ will also be on sale. Heather is an endurance athlete who in has won the Helvellyn Triathlon, has twice finished first lady in the Fred Whitton Challenge and in 2008 won the renowned Three Peaks Cyclo-Cross. As a runner she has won at Elite level in many mountain marathons including the LAMM and the OMM and has completed the Bob Graham Round in under 22 hours.

Heather will be telling stories of her racing and other adventures in the mountains, and of how they now inspire her painting and writing. Along with these stories she will be reading short excerpts from her books A Cycling Year, High Inspiration and Adventures in Mind.
